The journey to find you

This is your Mother sitting in my new recliner. Your dad and I bought this the day we knew, we were ready for you. We finally came to agreed that we were ready for you, sitting at Sam's Club 2.9.2012 at 4pm in the afternoon. We knew that in that moment, we could not bear to wait for you. I am excited for the day that I will find out, I am having you. For the day we find out if you are a boy or girl. For the day that your father and I get to finally meet you. I am excited! I know that your dad is nervous with us both being in school but we are both wanting to give you the world. We are not rich, right now. We have our bills paid, food in our tummy's and most of all we have a love for you, before we have found you. We are on this journey to find you, love you, raise you, and most of all you are part of me and part of your dad.

I guess we should start who we are. I am Rachel Mary Heminger. Before I was married to your dad. My last name was Hawkins. I was born Saturday December 10, 1983 at 7:08 am. I do believe I was 9lbs and 5 oz and cole black thick curly hair and blue eyes. I was born to Chris Lamar Hawkins and Karen Elizabeth Hawkins, I had 3 sisters  waiting at home for me, hoping I was a boy. Well needless to say, I was not. My oldest sister Kristi was 5, Amanda 3, and Rebekah was just 16 months {1 1/2 years old.} We lived in Nappanee, IN. Couple years later, my mom and dad did not stay together. My dad remarried to my mom Jill Hall, April 1st, 1989. My mom remarried to Joe Bailey in 1990. Joe passed away in February 28th, 2006.

Your dad is Jeff Adam Heminger. He was born also on a Saturday August 4th, 1973 at 5:19am. Your dad said he did not know if he had hair or not. He does have hazel eyes. Your dad has no clue is height and weight. Well this turning out to be fun! He was born to Robert Alan Heminger and Shirley Ann Heminger. Your dad had one sister at home, waiting for him; Sherry Ann Heminger she was 5. His family lived in Granger, IN. Your dad said he was 15 when your grandpa and grandma decided not to stay together. Your grandpa remarried and your grandma found love.

Right now our fur children - Sandy Joseph Colt 13, who is tan and white cat. Fattie Jane Mouse 9 who is tan, and black, and Little Clover Leaf 7 who is pure black.

We are excited to find you and ready for the journey into parenthood.
